Banqueting House

Banqueting House, the last surviving part of Whitehall Palace, is one of London’s most iconic historic venues. Reopening in October 2025 after a year-long restoration, it offers a striking combination of classical architecture, rich royal history and modern event facilities, making it an unforgettable setting in the heart of Westminster.

Dinner at Banqueting House

Main Hall

Purpose-built for entertaining in 1622, the Main Hall continues to dazzle with its soaring columns and the world-famous Rubens ceiling – the largest surviving in situ work by the artist. Following recent restoration, its enhanced lighting, sustainably sourced oak flooring and improved climate control create the perfect environment for both preserving its heritage and hosting spectacular dinners, receptions and galas for up to 450 guests.

The Undercroft at Banqueting House

The Undercroft

Beneath the splendour of the Main Hall lies the atmospheric Undercroft, once a private drinking den for King James I. With vaulted ceilings, private alcoves and an intimate character, it offers a distinctive contrast to the grandeur above, making it ideal for smaller gatherings, drinks receptions and pre-dinner hospitality.
