Sophie Amor is our Wedding Creator. Her favourite event so far was an elaborate and beautiful Alice in Wonderland themed wedding in the country. The marquee was covered in beautiful white and purple draping, with an array of coloured lanterns. Brightly coloured teapots and mismatched tea cups were used to serve the champagne, as the Queen of Hearts welcomed guests in.
The menu was extravagantly themed, including bright red “Eat Me” hearts, tables covered in fun “Drink Me” miniature bottles, filled with brightly coloured cocktails, white chocolate mice, and edible chocolate clocks hanging from the trees.
A life-size chessboard took pride of place in the gardens, with flamingos and giant mushrooms adorning the grass area. There was a wonderfully wonky wedding cake, which took centre stage in the middle of the dance floor, and table-centres made from a flamboyant and colourful 'mad hat'.
The whole wedding day was filled with laugher, fun, excitement and surprise – one of the best and most eclectic weddings ever!
Sophie’s last supper would start in Turkey, with a starter of Turkish Manti - traditional mini dumplings, served with homemade yoghurt, chilli oil and herbs. Her main course would be a Japanese Yakiniku steak, sticky white rice and grilled tender stem broccoli, covered in sweet soy sauce and sesame seeds. And for dessert? Dark chocolate torte with raspberry sorbet – or – if that’s not available an Espresso Martini would do the trick! Instead of a desert island dish Sophie would pick an everlasting iPod playing Salsa and Bachata music. Not food but the music would help her to forget the food!
