Rachel is our Wedding GURU and produces stunning, bespoke weddings like no other.
Her dessert Island food would have to be a can of pickled gherkins. She know's that they're not particularly useful but they are the food that she craves. And, yes, she knows it's strange (hopefully some of the team will share their items with her).
Her favourite event is a beautiful botanical wedding that she planned. The wedding was centred around the stunning courtyard in the centre of the house, decorated with huge trees and garlands of fairy lights to look like a scene from midsummers night dream!
Although they had planned to have the wedding breakfast in the courtyard the weather wasn’t on their side. Having said that even inside it looked incredible with garlands of greenery, and the occasional pop of berry colour sitting on a taupe table runner on rustic wooden trestle tables, in a room scattered with trees full of fairy lights. The food was incredible, with abundant sharing platters and sweet treats.
From individual frames with pressed flowers for escort cards through to presents for the children to keep them entertained (and quiet!), the personal touches throughout the day made for a gorgeous experience for the guests.
The best things about it – the Bride and Groom were thrilled beyond belief.
Rachel is a self confessed cheese fiend, so her last supper with start with a baked Camembert with delicious crusty olive bread for dipping. The main course would be a proper British roast beef dinner with all the trimmings. There would have to be at least two Yorkshire puddings, unlimited roast potatoes (goose fat of course), horseradish sauce and several jugs of gravy! For dessert Rachel would have to have two deserts as she couldn’t pick between a melt in the middle chocolate bomb with a salted caramel sauce, and a sharp and refreshing Lemon tart with Chantilly crème.
